Nieuw-Haamstede is enjoying a glorious beach week with plenty of sunshine and perfect swimming weather. Tuesday starts pleasantly at 24 degrees, though there's a moderate north-easterly wind (force 5) on the beach. After that it turns truly tropical: 31 degrees on Wednesday, even 33 degrees on Thursday as the wind drops. The 23-degree sea water offers welcome relief. From Wednesday through Friday, delightful beach temperatures with little wind and abundant sunshine.

At the weekend it cools noticeably to 22-23 degrees with slightly more wind from a northerly direction. The chance of a shower remains small (16-17%), but the sun dominates. Note: the UV index stays at 6 all week, so good sun cream is essential. Monday turns changeable with a 31% chance of rain. The best beach days are Wednesday through Friday: warm, sunny and comfortable for swimming.
