Strandwijzer is deliberately privacy-friendly. We keep this notice short because there is little to tell, and that is intentional.

No accounts, no personal data

We do not ask for or store any email addresses or other personal data from visitors. You can use the entire guide without providing personal data.

No cookies for visitors

We place no tracking cookies of our own and use no advertising tracking or visitor profiling. Embedded third-party services (such as maps, photos and reviews) may set their own cookies under their own terms. We process any data in line with the GDPR.

Technical logs

Our hosting partner (Vercel) keeps standard technical server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages. This is necessary for the operation and security of the site. We do not use this data to track you or build a profile.

External services

For maps (Mapbox), photos and reviews (Google) and weather data (Open-Meteo), data is retrieved from those services. These parties may process their own technical data as described in their own terms.
