Scheveningen

Scheveningen is set for an exceptional summer week with tropical temperatures. Tuesday will already reach 32 degrees with plenty of sunshine, Wednesday even 37 degrees, extremely warm for the beach. Thursday through Sunday will remain tropical, between 32 and 38 degrees. The easterly wind will keep conditions at the beach somewhat more bearable than inland, but it will still be scorching hot.

The sea water at 21 degrees offers wonderful relief from the heat. The wind will remain light, around 3 Beaufort, so the sea will be calm. Please note: the UV index will be 7 all week, so apply sunscreen generously and seek shade regularly.

The coming weekend will be busy: Saturday and Sunday will bring tropical temperatures with virtually cloudless skies. Monday will cool down considerably to 22 degrees, much more pleasant for anyone wanting to avoid the extreme heat.
