Ter Heijde is enjoying beautiful beach weather this week. Tuesday starts sunny with 25 degrees and a northeasterly wind of 4 Beaufort, pleasant on the beach, though you'll feel a decent breeze. The sea water is a comfortable 23 degrees, perfect for swimming.

Wednesday gets warmer (31 degrees) and Thursday turns into high summer with 34 degrees. The wind drops to 3 Beaufort, ideal beach weather. Mind the high UV index of 6: apply plenty of sunscreen.

The weekend brings cooler conditions. Saturday and Sunday see temperatures dropping to a pleasant 23-24 degrees at 3 Beaufort. The chance of a shower remains small. Monday sees the chance of rain increase to 31 per cent.

The combination of lovely swimming water, generous sunshine and dropping winds makes the second half of the week ideal for Ter Heijde.
