Wassenaarse Slag

Wassenaarse Slag starts this week with wonderful beach weather. Tuesday will already reach 29 degrees with a generous 81% sunshine and a light easterly wind. Wednesday the temperature rises to 31 degrees, Thursday to 32 degrees. Friday brings an exuberant summer's day with no less than 38 degrees, extremely warm even for the beach. Fortunately, the sea water at 20 degrees offers lovely cooling relief.

The weekend remains summery: Saturday 33 degrees, Sunday 32 degrees. Both days plenty of sunshine and a gentle breeze. The high UV index of 7 calls for good sun protection. In this weather, the beach will be considerably busier, especially at the weekend.

Please note: Friday and Saturday the heat combined with full sun can be quite intense. Seek shade regularly and drink plenty of fluids.
