Wijk aan Zee

Lovely beach week ahead for Wijk aan Zee! Tuesday starts sunny with 24 degrees and a north-easterly wind at 4 Bft, nicely fresh on the beach. Wednesday gets warmer (29 degrees), Thursday even tropical with 33 degrees. The cooling sea water at 22 degrees will be particularly pleasant then. The wind remains moderate from an easterly direction, ideal for a windbreak.

Friday still summery with 30 degrees and light winds. The weekend cools slightly to 25 degrees on Saturday and 22 degrees on Sunday, with a small chance of the occasional shower. Monday back to 25 degrees with a bit more cloud.

The UV index this week is 6: make sure to apply plenty of sun cream, especially on children. From Wednesday to Friday the beach will be busy due to the combination of summery warmth and abundant sunshine.
